Purina ONE® Dog and Cat Food Lines Now Specially Formulated With Yogurt

St. Louis, MO, June 28, 2005—Health-conscious consumers recognize the important role that real ingredients play in their diets. Now, pet owners can promote good health in their dogs and cats by feeding a pet food formulated with real ingredients including yogurt.

Purina ONE brand pet food is adding yogurt to its full line of dog and cat food formulas. Yogurt and other highly digestible protein sources in Purina ONE help contribute to pets' healthy digestion and total body health. The product is formulated to be lactose-free.

According to Day, Purina ONE with yogurt is easily digestible and helps promote optimal nutrient absorption. The new formulas will be available in pet specialty, grocery, mass merchandise and club store channels in mid-August 2005.
